BIG KEYS Plus - MAKES COMPUTERS ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE!

GREYSTONE DIGITAL INTRODUCES BIGKEYS Plus - A NEW VERSION OF ITS POPULAR BIG KEYS COMPUTER KEYBOARD.

CHARLOTTE, NC--April 15, 1998-- BigKeys Plus, a new school version of the popular BigKeys Children's Keyboard, unlocks the magic of computers for everyone. Without compromising the unique uncluttered appearance of the original Big Keys, with its inch-square keys, BigKeys Plus provides enhanced versatility as suggested by educators.

Patented "KeyStar" technology from Jefferson Computer Products provides the added "Plus" features: punctuation keys, arithmetic keys, and even Internet keys. School children, and adults needing large keys, can use BigKeys Plus for word-processing, spreadsheets, and Internet access.

The BigKeys Plus keyboard layout continues to have a powerful attraction for young children, and is an excellent education aid with its optional ABC layout that reinforces reading and spelling skills. An easily accessible switch allows for reconfiguring the keyboard between ABC and QWERTY layouts: ABC for easy learning! QWERTY for standard use!

"We found that professional educators were very enthusiastic about the original Big Keys, and gave us many suggestions for enhancements," says Greystone vice president Dr. Frank Cartwright. "What we needed was a way to incorporate these ideas into our keyboard while maintaining the clean uncluttered features of Big Keys. The solution was the use of KeyStar technology in our new BigKeys Pluskeyboard." Cartwright went on to point out that this technology also enables Greystone to offer rapid delivery of custom and OEM variations of the popular keyboard. Keyboards that have foreign language accent marks, specialized industrial and commercial applications, and keyboards that are uniquely matched to special software packages can now be easily produced, even in small quantities. Already, BigKeys is extensively used in assistive technology applications. This use will be easily expanded by custom design, using the KeyStar technology embedded in BigKeys Plus.

BigKeys Plus is available in multi-color keys, single color keys, and is switchable between alpha and qwerty formats. All models now include: added punctuation, shift key, back-space key and the F1 - F10 function keys. BigKeys Plushas a suggested retail price of $169.
