BIG KEYS Plus KEYBOARD NOW AVAILABLE FOR MAC !

REYSTONE DIGITAL ANNOUNCES MAC VERSION OF BIGKEYS Plus -- THE POPULAR KEYBOARD THAT MAKES COMPUTERS ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE.

CHARLOTTE--September 1, 1999-- Greystone Digital announces the BigKeys Plus keyboard for the Macintosh computer.

When the DOS/Windows version of BigKeys Plus appeared on the market last year, it provided enhanced versatility to unlock the magic of computers for everyone, without compromising the unique uncluttered appearance of the original Big Keys keyboard with its inch-square keys.

Now, in response to the demand of educators and parents, BigKeys Plus is available to owners of Macintosh computers.

Patented "KeyStar" technology from Jefferson Computer Products provides the added "Plus" features to the Big Keys keyboard: punctuation keys, arithmetic keys, and even Internet keys. School children, and adults needing large keys, can use BigKeys Plus for word-processing, spreadsheets, and Internet access.

The BigKeys Plus keyboard layout continues to have a powerful attraction for young children, and is an excellent education aid with its optional ABC layout that reinforces reading and spelling skills. An easily accessible switch allows for reconfiguring the keyboard between ABC and QWERTY layouts: ABC for easy learning! QWERTY for standard use!

"We found that professional educators were very enthusiastic about the original Big Keys, and gave us many suggestions for enhancements," says Greystone vice president Dr. Frank Cartwright. "What we needed was a way to incorporate these ideas into our keyboard while maintaining the clean uncluttered features of Big Keys. The solution was the use of KeyStar technology in our new BigKeys Plus keyboard."

BigKeys Plus is available with multi-color keys or white keys, and is switchable between alpha and qwerty formats. The keyboard is manufactured to withstand the most enthusiastic of key thumpers. It is built with a rigid steel internal frame and heavy duty key switches set into a stylish ABS case. All models now include: added punctuation, shift key, back-space key and the F1 - F10 function keys. Big Keys Plus has a suggested retail price of $169.

Greystone Digital has received an enthusiastic response to the DOS/Windows version of the BigKeys Plus keyboard. The Mac version began shipping in August and is now available through catalogs and retail outlets nationwide.
